Vincent was born May 2, 1961 in Fayetteville, NC and passed away in Houston TX on February 21, 2012. He is survived by his parents, Robert Curtis Griffin and Nancy Caroline Hughes; his wife, Frances Griffin; two children, Erica Griffin and Laura Ray; grandchildren, Ethan Griffin, Madeleine Morvant and Kyla Ray and by one sister, Nancy Quinn. Mr. Griffin taught special education for the Princeton Independent School District for many years. He was also the driving force to develop The Special Olympics Program for Princeton ISD. Vincent enjoyed reading, watching old movies and was known for cooking his creative dishes. He had a passion for gardening and was especially proud of growing his roses. Above all he loved spending time and playing with his grandchildren. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Mesquite, TX. Bishop Jared Richardson will be officiating. Family wishes in lieu of flowers,please make donations to the National Marfan Foundation at www.marfan.org.
