Linda was born January 3, 1949 in Eureka, SD, the daughter of Melvin and Dorothy (Rossow) Klaudt. She attended school in Herreid where she graduated from Herreid High School in 1968. Linda lived in Yankton where she worked at Phinney's Café for several years. She also worked at the Yankton Area Adjustment Training Center. Linda enjoyed crafts, quilting, sewing, pottery, shopping, traveling and attending concerts. Linda died March 1, 2012 at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital, Yankton, SD. Linda is survived by her mother, Dorothy of Herreid, SD, four brothers and two sisters-in-law, John & Pam Klaudt, Black Hawk, SD, Peter Klaudt, Pollock, SD, Paul and Maureen Klaudt, Montrose, SD and Thomas Klaudt, Herreid, SD, two nieces, Ashley Klaudt and Laura Klaudt and four nephews, J. B. Klaudt, Jesse Klaudt, Michael Klaudt and K.C. Dusheneaux. She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin. The family would like to thank the staff of ABS in Yankton for their love and support shown to Linda throughout the years.
