Taubert, Max Alford, age 78 of West Milton, Ohio passed away on Monday, April 30, 2012 at Cyprus Pointe, Englewood. He was born August 4, 1933 in Jamestown, TN. He is preceeded in death by his parents Lawrence A and Adina (Reagan) Taubert and wife Linda (Blue) Taubert. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law Donald and Cheryl Taubert-Dayton, Ronald and Jackie Taubert-Dayton, 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, brothers Bob Taubert-Dayton, Billy Taubert-Dayton, and sisters Deanna Peavyhouse-Jamestown, TN and Doris Beaty-Jamestown, TN. He was retired from General Motors after 33 years of service as a tool and die maker, was a member of the Moose, USTA (United States Trotting Association), and a longtime owner of Harness Racing Horses. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday. May 6, 2012 at the Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton, OH with Pastor Michael Severt officiating. Friends may call on Sunday from 1:00-3:00 P.M. at Hale-Sarver. The family would like to thank Cyprus Pointe Staff and Max's sister Deanna for all thier special care adn concern. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association.
