Loss of a Pet

my friend

My hubby and I lost our cat 3 yrs ago, and we can hardly talk about her. she was bitten by a brown recluse spider, she was in the vet hospital for a whole week, we alway called everyday to check on her, and our vet was so good to be honest with us. we lost her and we brought her home and buried her with her collar and her binky. there are people in this world who thinks it's terrible to grieve over an animal, but they are a part of our family. I have alway loved animals and will continue to do so.
sincerely,
Terri

My parents and I loved cats and had, believe it or not, 13 at one time because they couldn't turn away any strays. I know how it feels to lose a cat.. They are more than cats... they are babies and children to us. It will be a long, long time before you can think of her without feeling sick. My husband and I buried Ellie Mae, my calico, in our backyard and still get a pang when I look at her grave. I lost my horse Sunday, and the only solace I can feel is at least I was lucky enough to have him for so long. Know that other people feel the way you do, and it's perfectly normal to grieve, actually, expected to grieve over someone so special.

I miss all my pets from growing up.. I remember their personalities clearly and fondly.

At least they were in our lives and we were able to take good care of them!

God bless you. I know your pain, and feel the same way about our loss of our Maine Coon. Some pets are just more special than others. I've had many cats, but never any like our deceased Maine Coon.
