Saying Goodbye
Last September I lost my cat Buudy. He was a very unusual cat. He waited at the door for me and was always by my side. I can honestly say that I loved him as if he were a member of my family. That was a particularly difficult time because over the previous 5 months two of my other very beloved babies had also passed away. I had been sort of jokingly thought of as a cat fanatic as I had 5 cats that I treasured. In less than 6 months I lost 3 of them. It was awful. I will say however, that I was blessed that Buddy died in my arms as I patted him. He purred softly until almost the very end. I miss all three, Mickey, Mattie and Budward so much. They were such wonderful friends and companions. I am so thankful that I had the pleasure to be their Mom. Don't ever let anyone tell you that loving a pet is crazy and losing them shouldn't be so hard. It's just as painful and real as losing the humans in our lives. I will never forget them.

Last night my cat Gus of 19yrs passed it happened while I was work it looked as though he was trying to climb up to his favorite place to sleep and passed from a heart attack. He had not been well recently still eating and drinking and using litter box, but lost a lot of weight and looked very sad. He was my best friend he was always there for me waiting for me to come home laying with me at night and loving me always. I too had 2 other cats and a dog pass in the last year all of my animals were older and had good lives. I miss them all and feel other peoples pain when they lose a beloved animal. My thoughts and prayers go out to you I know what a difficult time it is.
