Death of a loved one is not easy. The pain can linger on for awhile. It is not just understanding what we all have to face, it is the loss, the separation, knowing that you will never see them again in this life. In the same essence, try to embrace the love, the memories, their presence in your daily activities. Look at their pictures, keep them alive in your thoughts, talk to them. Remember their birthdays. Look not at death as final, but a journey to another life. Hold them in your heart, feel their presence.
I lost my son as an infant, I loss my Mom and DAd, the pain goes deep. Keep them alive in your heart, embrace them. God will give you the strength to take one day at a time.
