I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Your family has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Barb and I used to walk to your grandmothers after school or stop by the office and drop our books(guess we were lazy). I often babysat for you girls and your Aunt Diane was always someone my mom considered a special person from when they grew up together. When I visited Bob in the hospital
When I visited Bob in the hospital in DSM he asked about everyone in my family and then asked why Barby wasn't w/me. It made Dorothy and I smile. All of us who grew up in Osky treasure our memories of the summer band concerts in the park. Our family sends your family warm hugs.

I'm so sorry about Chuck. I used to work at Casey's in Oskaloosa, and he was such a nice man. He told me one day he liked people to call him by name and introduced himself. Every time he came in after that he called me by name. A wonderful person and a customer you were always happy to see walk through the door!! He will be missed.

I was so saddened to receive the news of Chuck's death on Monday morning from Andy Clark. Barnhouse publications have published my "Performing Percussionist Method Books" for many years. Indeed, our endearing friendship, laughter, jokes, and wonderful camaraderie made our friendship very special.
With my deepest sympathy,
Jim Coffin

I developed a special relationship with Chuck over the past several years, starting out as his barista or waitress and quickly turning to a friend. I will never forget the night that I signed my name "Meg" on his check at the Peppertree. He asked me, "I thought your name was Megan?" I responded with "well my friends call me Meg". So Chuck asked if he could call me "Meg" and from that day on he never called me anything

So Chuck asked if he could call me "Meg" and from that day on he never called me anything else. He could make me smile on even the most stressful nights at work. I will forever remember his generosity and kindness. Annie-you are a wonderful person and your love was evident in the care you gave to him over the last few years. He will smile down on you forever. My thoughts are with you and the rest of your family.
With much love,
Megan Tucker
