Charles "Charlie" Phillip England Sr. passed away on Friday, February 24, 2012 at the age of 45. He was the beloved husband of 24 years to the late Kelly Bordelon. Loving father of Raychelle Bordelon and Charles P. England Jr. Son of Lillie Nicely and the late Alvin England Sr. Brother of Alvin England Jr., David England, Michael England, Bernita Gemar and the late Jo Ann Fos. Proud grandfather of Emily, Sophia and Olivia Leroux. Charlie was a native of New Orleans and a lifetime resident of St. Bernard Parish where he enjoyed a longtime career with the St. Bernard Parish Mosquito Control Department. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered as a loving and loyal husband, father, grandfather and brother, who loved his rock & roll, but treasured his friends & family above all else.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, March 2nd from 10:00AM – 1:00PM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 1:00PM. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.

I knew Charlie as a kid growing up with my kids on Guerra Dr. Always smiling. Sorry to hear he's gone. My prayers to him and his family.
