"Man Big Chester it’s unbelievable to think that you’re gone. I will never forget the first time we met about 8 or so years ago in LA at our church organization convention. You help us in security…who would really try to mess with us with you around? You bought us dinner from Morton’s steakhouse, you said it would be good, and you were right. You were a big man with a big heart, and left a indelible print in our hearts that will remain forever. Zina, Deacon Moore and the entire family, our prayers are with you during this difficult time. We Love you!
Some trust in chariots, some trust in chariots, but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. For the name of Lord is a strong tower the righteous run in and are saved."

"First impressions!!! When he arrived at Clemson as a freshman, he dazzled so many people... I knew he was special.
They ran timed 40-yd dashs inside Littlejohn Coliseum. Chester came by me while I stood inside one of the tunnels... it could only be described as the way you feel standing on the side of the interstate when a tractor-trailer blows by you at 65 mph. The rush of wind and thankfulness you did not get run over. A big man to move that fast was simply amazing.
Off the field, he was a gentle giant who always made you feel welcome.
I think about you often. You will be missed!"
