" I am so very sorry to hear of Chris' passing. I bought my home from he and Mari and not a day goes by that I am not thankful for my home and the work he did.
I am so sorry Mari

"I was always proud of Chris and his accomplishments. I watched him grow up as a neighbor and go on to great success through hard work and determination. I always used him as a good example for other students.
He was also a good friend and I will miss him. My thoughts go out to Mari and the family.

"We are shocked at the news of Chris' passing. We have Mari and the family in our prayers."
"Such a terrible loss. Knew Chris since grade school, helped us bale hay for several years. Like others have said, he always had that ornery little grin on his face, always made you wonder what he was thinking! No matter what he was doing, baling hay, playing football, or working on his car, he always gave 100%. I am sure he continued this work ethic latter in life as well. Prayers to Mari and his girls, I am so sorry for you're loss. R.I.P."

" Chris taught me how to sweep a floor, and do other chores, to the standards of Mike Stephen. That has kept me gainfully employed since the '80's. He and Steve Studebaker handed me the "tune" for my first fast car. I will always fondly remember them both. My prayers go out to Mari and the family."
