"Thank you for all the wonderful memories I can still have of your great career in film and tv. You remind me so much of my own father, a Navy career man who passed away a few years ago -- losing you was almost like losing my father all over again. The world seemed a much nicer place knowing you were in it. God-speed Mr. Borgnine - you will be missed, but I will look to meet up with you someday."
