"Loved singing along with you as you sang on the radio! You sang so many great songs! Just watched the video of your career and story. Didn't hear of your passing until I just looked you up. May you RIP."

"I have just learned of the death of Helen Reddy and I'm shocked, and as a mature man I don't mind admitting I shed a few tears I've been a fan of hers since I saw her in Pete's dragon in 1975, since then I have collected all her albums, shipping the ones I couldn't get in the UK from America, and even cancelled my Holiday back in 1992 to see her in concert In London. She was a wonderful singer with a rich and distinctive voice, her songs have given me (as with all her fans) great pleasure over the years and have helped me through some dark times in my life, a particular favorite, Candle on the Water. She will be missed by her family, all who knew her on a personal level, and of course her fans, she will live on in her films, her music and our hearts. God bless Helen may you rest in Peace. "Helen Reddy's songs got me through a lot of teenaged pain. I sang her songs over and over. She was a wonderful singer and a wonderful person and I will forever be grateful that she was a part of my life by her music."
