"I remember first hearing the song I am redeemed. It made me feel the holy spirit with every fiber of my being. I love and will always miss jessy dixon."

"Jessy and his music touched my life and ministry more than I can ever express. He brought life and joy to each song and communicated its message straight to your heart. I have used Jessy on my Afterglow music program heard round the world on radio and over the internet. I will continue to do so. I just now learned of his home-going last September. His warmth and exciting exaltation of the Lord through life and music will live in my heart. Though our loss is Heavens gain, we still will miss his presence and power. I so thank the Lord I had the joy of meeting him and being touched by him and his ministry.
Eternally grateful,
Don Johnson
Producer/Host/Afterglow"

"I never will forget when he stirred our choir The Walker-Ford Gospel Singers up one night as he made a special guest appearance with us at the Antioch Baptist Church in the early 1970's.
He made such an impression on me that every time I think about it, I shout and thank God for delivering me.
To his sister, Miriam, you have my condolences.
Love,
Gwen"

"Nobody could ripple his voice up and down the scale like Jessy; and when he started singing, it was impossible to keep his feet still. Now he's dancing and singing in heaven, and certainly pleasing God and all His angels. Miss you, man!"

"Rest in Peace Reverend Jessy Dixon. You certainly blessed this world with your musical talents: your singing, playing the piano, and your original song writing. No one can top your talent. I especially enjoyed all of your gospel music."
