"His Franz Liebkind was a work of genius and Mars should have received an Oscar nomination. To even make an ex-Nazi, Hitler-loving playwrite funny and without offending anyone (except maybe ex-Nazi's)was a work of sheer genius. Mars had me in uncontrollable laughter, with tears rolling down my cheeks. I have never laughed so hard in my life."
