"It surprises me that the obituaries ignore the masterpiece of Marilyn French's work: Beyond Power. This is an indication of just how powerful this work is--the mainstream media wouldn't touch it, even after French's death. If everyone on Earth read this book, the world would change immediately. There is no other work ever written which defines, describes, and clarifies our world and how it has come to be. Her optimism at the end of the book is admirable. I can only hope that she was correct. I thank her for her work."
