"My condolences to all family and friends of Mr. Hamlisch. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I wanted to let you know that Mr. Hamlisch affected my family in many ways. My sister, Jamie, is severely and profoundly disabled. She loves music. Her favorite TV program is when Marvin appeared on TV with Liza Minnelli And played for Gladys Knight. He also played a song about a "krapidgula". Jamie loved it so much that we took her to a Marvin Hamlisch concert! She loved it! I would like to say thank you for sharing him with the world and allowing his talents to be truly enjoyed. You have no idea what a joy it has been over the years! I realize that this does not take away the loss you feel. However, please accep my sincerest condolences and gratitude at the same time.
