"The voice of an angel has been silenced here on earth and has returned to his heavenly home. Those of us who remain on earth, will cherish his songs, the love he sang about to his wife and fans and know that he is not far from us at all. Take your rest now, oh weary servant. Job well done Nick Simpson. Take your rest indeed."

"I have been a fan since the70's when I was just a teenager. Throughout the years I have been in love with the music of the famous couple,Ashford and Simpson. Your music has always touched me soul and I was so in awe of the love that was evident between the two of you.
Valerie my deepest sympathy as I know the pain you are in. I also have lost my mate four years ago. I felt like all the air was taken away from me. A very dear friend told me earlier this year that what I must do now is to live my life in a way to honor his memory and what was shared between the two of us. This way only one life is lost, not two. May God continue to bless you and your family.
Love to you,
A loyal fan."
