"I don't see any implication from Jon that Sally Ride was not a good role model. Just the otopsipe. One instance where Paterno decided in hind sight that he should have bucked his bosses ???? Joe Paterno was the boss. The President of the University tried to fire him 7 years ago and it didn't take. Paterno was the most powerful man on the Penn State campus. No one was a close second. The fact the college athletics is a cesspit of sham amatureism that systematically exploits young people is not an excuse for not reporting child abuse."

"I've read virtually all of his works at least once, many several times. Dandelion Wine is my favorite and Is on my personal 20 most influential books list.
I've read it every two years or so for a long time now. I, too, mourn his passing, and hope he does indeed live forever. May he rest in peace. So many prayers are following him out there in space. I thank him for all his works, but especially for the Spalding family in Green Town, Illinois."
"You took us where no one had taken us quite before..So much is now that y ou envisioned in your imagination and writer about..As with other sci fi, it is not so fi.."

"I have owned six copies of Fahrenheit 451, and read each one. Loaned them out, and never got them back. :) His characters were from his heart and soul, he will live forever in the pages of his works."

"Mr. Electrico was right. Ray Bradbury will live forever--in the hearts and minds of everyone who has ever read his work. Rest well, my friend, M."

"I went to Mars with him when I was 10. I met him when I was 16, when he was promoting Long After Midnight. I saw him speak and hung on his every word. He was a beacon, a spirit guide, a compass to point to words, ideas, myths and metaphors. He inspired me to become a writer, which I did.
The word nostalgia comes up a lot when we describe him, but there is another word, the root of the nostalgic, and that is wonder. He filled the world with wonder."
