"The first time I met him was at Vets Memorial in Columbus Ohio and he signed autograhs after the show.My sister and I talked to him for quite awhile. the second time was at the Ohio State Fair a couple years later it was a very good show but all his show's were good. We got to talk to him again. The third time I wasn't watching were I was going and ran right into him at the Civic Center in Ohio I appologized this was many years later. He was showing his paintings. But what struck me the most about that day is that he remembered meeting me years eariler and asked me how I was doing?. like we were old friends and we chated for awhile like old friends do. I will never forget those times when I got to chat with a great man."

"I've always admired him. He never compromised on his morality and his reverence for God. He will be sadly missed by those of us who were lucky enough to enjoy his work both in movies and on stage."
