"Wow I was so shocked to hear this, I had just seen him on TV talking about his future plans to get married and was glad he seemed to be doing well, I live in Tennessee and he impacted me in high school after what he went thru and how he wanted to just get on w/ his life and 20 yrs later it was a sad day for me to learn of his passing."

"To the King family, Im very sorry for your loss.I have seen specials on R.K. through out the years & he'd came a long way.We could learn alot from him on forgiveness cause sad to say Im not as forgiving although I know it took a while for him to do.He seemed as someone who had a really big heart,caring and compassionate which Im sure Im right. I was at work when I heard the news.May he now RIP.He helped some opportunities open up for us african ameri & I thank him for that.I understood his pain cause I to come fm a fam w/the same bk ground. He was a human being with feelings like all of us & people shouldn't judge.God will keep you strong through it all. God bless you're family"
