"Our thoughts, prayers and thanks go out to the Knowles family. Due to Mr. Knowles work, our husband and father has been able to walk and move these past 12 years. At the age of 42 he was told he had Parkinson's disease and has been taking L-dopa ever since. As the dementia and the Parkinson's progress the L-dopa has become less effective. We appreciate the work of Mr. Knowles and have often wondered the fate of those before there was L-dopa. Rigidity I suppose, then early death.
What a great work he has done for a great number of people.
