To the Kornas family...I am so sorry for your loss. I was reading through the guestbook and it is clear that Ron has touched and impacted so many lives. I am sure Ron will continue to do so in the wonderful memories he has given so many. I pray that when you all think of Ron, though your hearts may be heavy, that a smile will grace your lips. To the family of Ron Kornas, Our thoughts are with you as we are missing our good friend Ron. We are peaceful however that he is no longer suffering because no one deserves that. His Funeral service was very nice and we think it was just the way he would have wanted it. The impressive turnout of family and friends shows just how many lives he has touched. Keep your Faith in Jesus and let him comfort you at this time of great loss. Bless each and everyone of you. Love The Alasina Family

Dear Everyone,

I just wanted to say how sorry I am to hear of Ron\'s passing. I knew him through First Lego League at Parcells Middle School where I worked with him as a parent volunteer. He began the club there and was our leader and mentor. He was a terrific coach and his booming voice never failed to get everyone\'s attention! He was funny and good natured and he will be greatly missed! May God bless your family at this very sad time.

My deepest sympathy to the Kornas family. I worked with Ron in the early-mid 80s at Time Engineering. I remember we had a lot of fun at work. Our paths crossed again while working at Ford Motor Company in the mid 90s. Again, he was a fun person to work with. He will always have a place in my memories.

Our hearts are heavy as we mourn Ron, yet lifted by his memory. He was a true gem. We pray for his family, his friends and his students. Ron had a rare gift, one that he blessed us all with, one that we must remember to pass on: Love everyone, befriend all you meet, and ask nothing in return. His quick wit and winning smile will be with me always. May Love and Peace find you all.

Our family was saddened to learn of the death of Mr. Kornas. Our oldest son was a student of his several years ago in his Architecture 1 class. He ended up in the class by accident, the original class he had chosen conflicted with one of his other classes. It turned out to be a fortunate twist of fate as Mr Kornas quickly became one of Andrew\'s favorite teachers. He was a gifted and dedicated teacher and a man who genuinely cared about every child that walked through his door. Andrew is now working at an architectural and design firm in Cincinnati as part of his program at the University of Cincinnati. We are so grateful to have known him. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

We worked with Ron at Ford in Experimental Engineering. We are both shocked and saddened to hear of Ron\'s passing. The last time we saw Ron was a few years ago out on Lake St. Clair. It was a beautiful summer day, he was happy and smiling - and that\'s how we want to remember him. Prayers for his wife and children and the rest of his family.

Pani Jania and family, there is nothing that can be said at a time like this to make it any easier, but know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Brad and I were saddened to hear of Rons passing, but I am smiling as I remember the time our families spent together, the laughter, the boisterous noise, and how Tom and Ron would torment me mercilessly. God Bless you and yours at this most difficult time.
