I am shocked and saddened by the passing of Howard. He and I grew up together on "The Hill" and went to #21 school together which was on 5th and Scott Sts.He was my partner at Mayday in 2nd grade. We saw each other occasionally through the years usually in the Acme. He was always the same and a class act. You have my deepest sympathy. Prayerfully Winifred Toliver-Grant

Redding family,
Sorry to hear of Howard's passing. I went to Wilmington HIgh School with Howard and knew him for many years. He lived up the street on Howland St and I lived at 1712 Howland St. He was a class guy. Haven't seen him in 50 years but had the pleasure to have know him. He will be missed by all that had the pleasure to have known him.
