Clennis Odean Thompson, age 78 of Bald Knob, died Friday, February 12, 2016 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born October 22, 1937 in Ethel, Mississippi to Charles Ephron Thompson and Belle Zadie Sims Thompson. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dortha Thompson; two sons, Charles Thompson and wife LaDonna of Bald Knob, David Thompson and wife Neda of Beebe; seven grandchildren, Rita Treece and husband Adam of Greenbrier, Travis Reeves and wife Haylee of Ward, Randall Thompson and wife Embry of Bald Knob, Colby Thompson and wife April of Fayetteville, Holly Thompson of Bald Knob, Tyler Reeves of Bald Knob, Natalie Biggs of Beebe; and five great-grandchildren, Olivia Treece, Weston Treece, Amelia Treece, Andrew Thompson, and Gunner Reeves. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ephron and Zadie Thompson; brother, Charles Thompson; sister, Bettie Lockett Jones; and daughter, Elizabeth Reeves. Visitation is Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Powell Funeral Home. Funeral services are Sunday at 2:00 pm at Powell Funeral Home with interment to follow at Smith Cemetery.
