Condolence & Memory Journal

I remember the day I met your mom. It was on Yorktown in A2. My mom (Pregnant with David), John, Martha and I were taking a walk in our new neighborhood, we had Martha in the wagon. We have known each other since 1964. Our families go back a couple of generations (very cool). I have funny stories about our escapades on Yorktown. A few years ago I took your mom to the Pavarotti concert here in Phoenix. Your mom leaned over with a big smile on her face and said "this music makes me feel like a little girl and I want to twirl". I hope your mom realizes her dreams to twirl with Jim and, be young again. With sympathy and love, Barb

From Saginaw beginnings to our Ann Arbor neighborhood where we reconnected through our children, Mary has remained a lovely presence in my life for many many years. I loved her for her laughter, her creativity, and her deeply felt passion for all things needing a solid champion. Her legacy of beauty, brains, and bravery cannot be matched. My heartfelt sympathy to the Hart/Ritter families.
