David, you will be sadly missed by so many people. You were a kind soul who had many special friends. When I went to visit you in the hospital I saw so many people who loved them some David. I talked about how you were like the boy that cried wolf. Jeanie would tell me I have to go see my brother David in the hospital. He is really bad off this time and may not make it home. Then BAM like a cat with nine lives you would be going home the next day or sometimes in a few days but you always made it home. I really thought this was going to be one of those times because when it was my turn to visit you I know you could hear Jeanie and I talking to you because you responded to us by moving your arm and lips trying to give us a sign like the fighter you are. I guess this time God said enough fooling around David. Come home to me. We will all miss you at the Saints games, the birthday dinners, camping at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park, and Mardi Gras. No more suffering. God has taken away your pain. Rest in peace my friend.

Well the time has come for us share moments through our souls. Even though you are not with us on this earth a part of you will always be living inside of me. I smile because you are my sibling, I laugh because there is nothing you can do about that. You will always be with me and you will always be smiling because you know how I can be relentless about you smiling. You always wanted nothing but happiness for everyone in the family and your friends. I remember many talks with you wishing you could do so much for people.

Seems like you were always giving me the ride of my life. The fast rides to my ceramics classes during the summer time in your Camaro, and let's not forget when Brandon was a baby and the doctor told me I had to get him to the hospital downtown ASAP and we jumped in your corvette and you went straight up Airline Highway never stopping for a red light. How about that the time when you got so mad because I was making brownies and they weren't ready but Brandon wanted them ASAP and I told you to just give them to him. Also the good ole man to man talk you had with Brandon about life. (Now that's a memory that I cannot get into detail about)lol

As Brandon grew older, then you got very involved in Beau's life. Always asking for him to come spend the weekend at your house and play with the twins. You took the time to show the boys how to make a Saints blanket for me that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Beau would come home and tell me stories of what y'all did on the weekend.

I remember us living together and the times we shared with friends. I have met many wonderful friends through you. One funny time was when you and your friend came home and he fell into my Christmas tree. The tree went down and he landed right on it and all we could do is laugh. You and him went out and got the biggest and best tree out there.
I have so many funny memories with you Dave. I wish I could share them all but I would be writing for days.
You had such a funny and outgoing personality. You brought the best out in people. I am so VERY PROUD to call you my brother.
See ya soon

David will be greatly missed by many, especially me. I am forever grateful to be able to call him my friend. He was such a generous and loving person. In my heart, I know he will suffer no more and is in a better place. Although, my heart aches for the ones left behind. My condolences to my friends that I consider family. I love you all, you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
