Tribute & Message From The Family

Geraldine J. "Gerry" (Blauth) Bell, 78, of Hamilton, entered eternal life, Tuesday, November 29, 2016, with her family at her side at Capital Health, Hopewell. Born in Trenton, NJ, in 1938, she was the daughter of Louis and Mary Blauth and the granddaughter of Julia Bonfield with whom she shared a lifelong special bond. Gerry was a graduate of Bordentown High School class of 1956. She worked for over 20 years in the West Windsor Plainsboro School District as a school secretary and library assistant on both the elementary and middle school levels. In her younger days, she was employed with the Fort Dix Hospital and then the Hamilton Township Board of Education. Gerry was an avid quilter always quilting by hand (never machine). She loved books and when entering her home most times you would find her with a book in her hands. She was a longtime member of the Groveville United Methodist Church. Above all else Gerry treasured time spent with her granddaughters. Gerry was predeceased by her parents, Louis and Mary Blauth; and her grandson, Christopher. She is survived by the love of her life and husband of 60 years, C. Ray Bell; and her children and their spouses, Todd and Lynn Bell of Groveville, Teri Lynn Bell and Robert Jeyaseelan of Lawrenceville, and Troy and Lisa Bell of Yardville; her adoring grandchildren, Jennifer Bell Horowitz (Steven), Taryn Rae Bell, Alexis Bell and Juliana Bell; her brother, Louis R. Blauth; her sister-in-law and best friend, Patricia Blauth and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 3, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., at the Groveville United Methodist Church, 447 Church Street, Groveville, NJ 08620. Interment will follow at Groveville United Methodist Church Cemetery.
