Condolence & Memory Journal

Brian: I am so sorry to hear of your fathers passing. I did not read The Aegis until several days after the viewing or I would have been there. That Monday I informed the Fallston High social studies members who knew you. Everyone sends their condolences. From your many storied about you and your dad over the years it is obvious to anyone why you are such a fine man and role model--you saw one in your formative years. Brian, you are in our and my thoughts and prayers. Peace be with you and your family.

So sorry to hear about John's passing. We just found out about it and are sad to have missed his viewing. We were John's neighbors for about 10 years and moved around 2 years ago. We always enjoyed talking to John and he was a great neighbor who was always helpful and kind. And we loved seeing him around on the 4th of July at the town events. May you find comfort in the good memories during this difficult time.

John came to a 4th of July meeting many years ago just to check out what was going on. He asked if he could be given the opportunity to serve with us and we gladly gave this newcomer that opportunity. Over the years he worked into the Committee and amazed us all with his dedication and commitment. In many ways he set the tone for how we should run this event. It was a joy to serve with him and we will never be the same without him.

Jennifer and Brian you have my sympathy. It was a pleasure and honor to have taught with your father for many years at Forest Hill Elementary School. He was kind, thoughtful, dependable and fun to work with. He always attended our yearly faculty and staff gatherings and we will truly miss him. May God keep him in His loving care.

Many condolences on John's passing. I worked with John for about 2 decades on the Bel Air Independence Day Committee -- he was the peerless VENDOR COORDINATOR, known for scooting through town on his motorized bicycle, checking vendors, enforcing vendor arrangements, and more. For me as Parade Chairman, he served as one of my best and most trust-worthy parade marshals -- managing the BANDS, probably the most important part of any parade. He was rock-solid and dependable, and without him, we couldn't have mounted those parades. As a fellow BAIDC Board Member, I found John to be smart, sensitive and very ingenious about facing many of the challenges presented to the Committee. We all will miss John very, very much! May the Lord G-d bless and keep John forever and ever.

My condolences to all of you on John's passing. I taught with John at Forest Hill for many years. He was a kind and gentle man. I always enjoyed talking with him whenever we could both go to our yearly Forest Hill get togethers.
