Survivors are daughter, Surena (Stanley) Maresch; grandchildren, Jazlyn and Hunter; parents, James and Rena Gagneaux; siblings, Jimmy (Susie) Gagneaux, Kelly (Liz) Gagneaux, and Debra (Jimmy) Simmons; nieces and nephews and lots of family and friends.

Condolence & Memory Journal

Brent was a great kid in Fort Stockton, a tough football player and hard worker but always a guy that would give you the shirt off his back. I remember when he and Keith "Bird" Gilbert came to FS from Louisiana. They both are gone far too soon. God's Blessings to him and his family.

Our Brent, There was never a sweeter, kinder, caring soul than Brent. I am thankful you guys were in Ft. Stockton with us...going to school with Bo/Clyde. Mother and Daddy loved him so, as we all did. You could always count on Brent. So much fun, so much joy. He and Orbie Gatewood loved one another...they're together now. He loved our sister, Betty Sue. He loved Pappadeaux's Seafood Kitchen. He introduced us to "a water pipe", not hose. So much love, so many memories... Love you all, The late A.L. and Billie Louise Sawyer family Wanda Jean/Jean-Jean/Cheetah

Brent and I met because of Daisy dog. He gave her a wonderful home and always cooked her 2 eggs sunny side up. I'll always remember Brent with great fondness. What a kind man and a privilege to have known him. My deepest sympathy.
