I remember Lucile as a fiercely dedicated mom always there for Kim's activities in music, drama, band and all of those hours at the dance studio. She was so proud of her kids and always interested in Kim's friends too. She will be missed.

My sincerest condolences to the entire family. Mrs. Campbell was one of those moms you could count on as a room mother, carpooler for Blue Birds and Camp Fire Girls, booster for the band, etc., etc., etc.

She worked hard to keep her home and family in great shape -- except for that basement collection that plagued her (smile). Kim and I spent countless hours baking cookies, "studying" in the basement and hanging out while Mrs. Campbell puttered around the house.

Mrs. Campbell was incredibly proud of her children's accomplishments and spent enormous amounts of time to sew dance costumes, attend their concerts and other events, and run interference between them and their dad when he had worked too many hours of overtime and was feeling the need for solitude.

She had no patience for those who had no respect for hard work, but was generous to those who were found themselves in need despite their best efforts. She was truly a member of the Greatest Generation and she made a difference.
