Condolence & Memory Journal

I will cherish the time I got to spend with Mr. Harlin. He was not only a master horseman and breeder but a fine individual. I have many special memories of attending the Harlinsdale yearling sales with my mom. We have purchased many horses from Mr. Harlin and I remember him every time I walk into the barn. He was a great person who carried on a great breeding business through professionalism, kindness, honesty, and great knowledge. He and his wonderful wife passed on their fine qualities to their children and grandchildren, which is something every parent desires as a legacy. I will never forget Mr. Harlin and want to express my sincerest condolences to his family.

Will always cherish our memories of visiting with Mr. Harlin when we attended the Celebration. He was always very gracious and forthright to us. We learned so much about breeding horses from him and Billy Maddox. Loved their yearling production sale (bought quite a few over the years). If you wanted the best, that's where you went. So much history about the breed could be learned from him just by attending the sale.
Our sincerest condolences to the family. Don and I will never forget him.

Mr. Bill,

I was honored to have known you through the horse world, and to have owned Midnight Sun's last-living grandson, "Midnight Spirit of 76" for 32 years.

You and Barbara created such a wonderful family and equine legacy. May you rest in peace together forever, and your family find peace, comfort, courage, and strength in the days ahead.

Blessings,

We felt honored to know Mr. Harlin. He was a big influence for the TN. Walking Horse Assoc.. We always think of him, the horses, and cats when we pass the old farm. With the selling of the farm the Harlin family has left a legacy for the town of Franklin, Tn.. We also remember both Mr. and Mrs. Harlin always together at the Celebration and now they are together once again! May God be with you through the days ahead. Doug
