Condolence & Memory Journal

Suzy and I were friends for more than 30 years, we spent many a weekend with my two boys Travis & Brandon doing silly things like going camping at 10pm at night in Sisters Oregon, going to the Tractor museum, playing at the video arcade at Lancaster mall, making crazy themed meals (young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, karate kid, to name just a few) with the movie playing during the meal.
We spent many weeks Working together on store set up teams in California & Oregon for Oregon Craft and Floral, driving the company Lincoln all over Los Angeles and working insane hours getting stores opened on time through earthquakes roof collapses and plane crashes, building Christmas Castles and glittering everything in sight. Creating awesome Halloween displays and costumes and every holiday decoration.
Crazy trips to Vegas were we had to make sure Suzy at least drank orange juice while she sat for hours st the black jack tables.
Our condo in Keizer and our places in Portland were always the site of the best parties. Suzy could create a party out of just about anything.
We lost touch for awhile after her marriage to Tim and reconnected about 2 years ago. I am so glad we were able to get away to the beach this spring after our health scares this last year.
We will always remember her for her style, humor and love.
I will miss you forever my sweet Suzy

I would like to offer my sincere condolences to the family. Jeremiah 29:11 tells us God is thinking thoughts of peace towards us, to give us a future and a hope, may He support you at this difficult time.

I am so sorry that I am unable to attend. 2 days after Suzy passed, my brother in Indiana passed. I've known Suzy for the past 25 years. It was with absolute heartbreak that I experienced upon hearing of her passing. I will miss the "many" conversations we had mainly involving her beloved OSU Beavers. Suzy was a great friend. Always willing to give than to receive.
To Suzy's family, I offer prayers and deepest sympathies.
As Suzy and I would end almost all of our conversations, Go Beavs...

Suzy got to celebrate many a Christmas with us in the Dutton family. She was always giving, gracious with her time and humble in her words. She was a welcome extension to our family and we'll definitely miss her.
