Stephen was born on June 19, 1942 and passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017.

Stephen was a resident of Maryland.

Family and friends will honor Stephen‚s life at the family owned Evans Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services ‚ Parkville 8800 Harford Rd. on Monday from 7-9PM and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM . A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11AM Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church - 8420 Belair Road Fullerton MD 21236. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Stephen‚s name may be made to Women‚s Care Center- 7621 Belair Road Baltimore MD 21236 or Little Sisters of the Poor- 601 Maiden Choice Lane Catonsville MD 21228.

Steve was a kind soul always ready to help. His contributions to the many organizations he supported including us at the Jennifer Branch Conservation Association of the GVC will be greatly missed. Three weeks ago we visited following a garden tour ending at my house. My husband and I remember that visit fondly.

So very sorry to hear of Stephen's death. He was an inspiration to all of us in the Jennifer Branch Conservation Association, rarely missing a meeting and faithfully attending the garden tours we held each year. He will be sorely missed and our condolences go out to his family and friends.

Steve was a generous and kind volunteer to the Gunpowder Valley Conservancy's Jennifer Branch Conservation Association. I knew him only briefly, but I was inspired by his dedication to clean water and conservation. I wish his family and friends peace as they remember and honor his life.

Steve will be greatly missed by the Parkville Community. He will be remembered for his dedication to our environmental group, the Police Community Relations Council, the Greater Parkville Community Council and other organizations. What a giving and kind soul.

So sorry to hear about Steve. I haven't talked to him in a while but we used to playgames and had pizza. He loved the jelly pies from the bakery that has now closed.We always enjoyed having him in our home

So sorry to hear of Steve's passing. Steve was a really good man. I loved the many times we got together to plan our Southern reunions.
