Miss you, sister. We were growing old together now you are gone and I am the old one now. Someday we shall meet again, perhaps under better circumstances.

We are so sorry to hear of Mrs. Herrise's passing. We very much enjoyed speaking with her when she visited us at the log house. She always had wonderful stories to tell us about growing up next door. Rest in peace Mrs. Herrise. You will be missed.

I wish I could have been with all of you to celebrate your amazing mother today! I love the beautiful picture you chose. She had a great laugh! You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

To Herrise's sweet children: Thank you for sharing your precious mother with me. There were many times when her friendship kept me going. I loved the slumber parties we had! And so many good laughs! She tried her best to teach me how to play bridge (another laugh), but think she found me to be a hopeless case. But always - she was kind and patient. Much, much love, Liz Lucas

My prayers are with Herrise's family. It was a blessing to see her happy face at daily Mass and I will always treasure her friendship. Her passing unknown to me at the time, we played her favorite hymn during noon Mass today. She must have requested it on her way to heaven. Yes, well done, good and faithful servant.
