The Tucker family is so very sorry to hear this devastating news. Sending our love and prayers during this difficult time, and hoping the joy of the soon-to-be new baby girl will bring smiles through the tears. Glenn was absolutely one of the kindest, gentlest souls that I have ever met. He definitely had a "givers" heart. He loved teaching visually impaired folks and went way above and beyond the call of duty. He was also very generous and giving with his co-workers. He kept a coffee pot in his classroom and would never take a dime for coffee or supplies. He was sorely missed when he retired and missed even more now. Glenn loved his family and was always quick to talk about each of you. I have you in my prayers and I am so sorry for your loss.

I worked with Glen when he worked for Kanawha County Schools. I remembered Glen as a good friend who had a good sense of humor. I always enjoyed talking with him. He had a sincere desire to help kids. God bless him and his family, especially his wife Joan, who I also worked with.

So sorry to hear of Glenn's passing. We work together at the division of Rehabilitation Services, he was such a kind soft-spoken man who is very talented in his craft.

Glen was my son David Van Meter teacher. David was only 3 years old when Glen would come over to my house to help teach David with small items and speech. Glen was a very kind, patient and calm with David. Glen knew about ADHD and he helped me on ways to help David. Glen was a wonderful friend and teacher when I really need one. Thank you Glen.

He was one of a kind. He was so kind and helpful not only to me, but to so many others. He had a gift and he shared it. I also remember telling him at work, I wish I had your level of patience. I truly valued his friendship.

I have no doubt that if it weren't for Glenn & Joan I would not have ever been able to get or keep a job. As well as live as independently as i do. Any mistakes I have made were all my own doing.
Glenn was pivotal in my becoming aware of what technology can do to assist me. Skills I learned from him I use every day.
I think of you both often.
