During our high school years, I worked with Gilly at Henry's Hamburgers in Fond du Lac. Gilly was a great co-worker and a lot of fun to work with. He fried a great hamburger, made excellent, hand-made onion rings and did a superior job emptying the torpedoes (outside trash cans). Henry's was a big success while we worked there, in fact they probably went out of business because Gilly moved on to other employment and they couldn't make it without his fast food skills. RIP Gilly.
