Condolence & Memory Journal

I knew Chuck as Charlie when he first worked at the Treasurers office. He worked closely with my office - the Lucas County Auditors office - Real Estate division. He and Frank worked together in his early years. We missed him when he moved to Probate Court. Charlie was truly one of the good guys! R.I.P.

My prayers are with Chuck and his family. An old friend from high school and beyond; we shared much fun and mischief back in the day. What a great guy, wonderful laugh, and one I will always remember.

I will always remember you fondly from the time you worked in The Treasurer's Office. You were always very kind to me and as I recall gave me a parking spot in the county lot which saved me a ton of money. I am saddened by your passing.

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.

I lost one of the very few Deadhead friends I have here in Toledo, and I had the pleasure of working in the same building with him for 28 yrs. Though I tried for years to get him to listen to Furthur, Chuck was a diehard Jerry guy and wanted nothing to do with any post-Jerry music. And I respected him for that. He said no one will ever compare to a Jerry Morning Dew. Well, duh :). It was a pleasure to work with Chuck for many years, a genuine & kind person to the utmost. I will truly miss our "Jerry" discussions whether it be in his office, in the hall, or for that short ride in the elevator. Rest in Peace, Chuck. I hope Jerry welcomed you with a Dew. (Morning and Mountain) <3>
