Mrs Haltiwanger was the best English teacher I ever had and quite a spiritual leader. I learned so much from her and enjoyed being around her. She and I connected so well and I saw her as a teacher and friend. She will always be in my heart.

Mr Haltiwanger, I already miss you and Mrs Haltiwanger coming in whenever she wanted to order a plaque for someone.

When she was composing the wording for the plaque I was always impressed how much thought she put into it, she wanted to be so sure she was clearly expressing the appreciation and recognition the recipient ( looked up correct spelling, would not want her to give me a red cross mark for misspelling ) deserved. She covered all bases from your church, Woman's Conference, birthdays, anniversary, etc.

Of course, you and I would chime in when we were not talking about sports and different things, we were so busy.

My heart goes out to you and your family on your loss. God Bless you.

You two will always be special to us here at Trophy World, Inc.

Sincerely, Bob Hilling

I have just learned of Mrs. Haltiwanger's passing. I was a student of hers at Warwick High. I enjoyed her class very much, although I never did learn how to diagram those sentences! We had many good talks about the Lord. I can remember during lunch she was always working on courses from Liberty Baptist College. May God's blessings be with you all. Think of the fond memories of her as I have often done when I think of my days at Warwick High.

Seeing Mrs Haltiwanger's picture brought back such fond memories. I can see her standing outside of her classroom as classes were changing, I don't believe I ever saw her frown. As a female, I was so proud of her for her perseverance and determination to become a professional, and encourage others to seek and follow their dreams. Most of all, he was a woman of God. I grew up with most of the Haltiwangers, Isaiah was in my class (HHS '64). My heartfelt condolences to her family.

Mrs. Haltiwanger, Mrs. Blanch Williams and Mrs. Patricia Holman were all English teachers at Warwick High School whose lessons reached far beyond the classroom. They taught with a spirit of excellence, and for that, I will always be grateful. May God bless the family with His peace.

When someone special to you becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. Sis. Haltiwanger was my church youth choir director at the Church of God and my WHS teacher. I am giving back to the youth like she gave to me. Praying God comforts the family during this time.
