Noreen, I'm sorry we weren't able to express our condolences to you and the rest of your family in person, but Kim, Annie and I were in Boston. Your parents were special people and raised a wonderful family. Please know you all will be in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

I was out of town and unable to attend the services but wanted Celeste's family to know how much I thought of her. She was always in the stands watching her grandchildren's various sports activities, at OLPH masses, and always had a kind word to say. I will miss her.

Just the other day I was telling my sister that my favorite year of elementary school was 5th grade at Sauganash School. Why? Because Mrs. Stanton was my teacher!

Though I am sure you know, your mother was an incredibly gifted teacher, who even in a crowded public school, managed to treat every child with individual attention and made everyone feel special and loved. She was absolutely magnificent!

I have no doubt that she is in an incredibly beautiful place now!

With love and prayers,

Eileen and family. We were sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. It is always hard to lose a parent, but she had a long life, and I am sure you have wonderful memories of being her daughter. God Bless.
