There was nobody like my Grandpa Allen! He loved his family and his country and was so proud to serve both. He may have been rough around the edges, but that was part of his charm. And underneath that roughness was the most loving guy you'd ever hope to meet. Even though I have tears in my eyes as he leaves this earth, I smile knowing that he's whole again, and that he's with Grandma where he wanted to be. I love you, Grandpa. (P.S. Say hi to my Copper for me- he may look like a cat, but he's definitely your kind of dog!)

My tears are flowing as I prepare to say my final farewell to my beloved Dad.
Words are so inadequate in describing such a wonderful and kind person. Dad had a heart of Gold and always put the needs of others before his own. He brought joy to those he met and tended to.
His wife, children, grandchildren, and great grand children were the love of his life and he was proud of them all.
He loved his country with all his heart and when he finally received his long awaited military medals it was one of his happiest days.
I will never forget him. until we meet again Rest in Peace. I love you Daddy.
