To the family, Gayle was such a good person. He was involved with a group of young athletes that absolutely adored him. Our son loved him so much and that love was returned two fold by Gale. Those young boys had all they needed to be successful in every sport they were involved in. If they needed a glove, bat, jersey, or money for something to eat. He was right there to take care of their needs. My husband coached right by his side and saw all of this first hand. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. May God give you the peace that passes all understanding in this loss.

I am proud to have called Gale a friend. He was a very knowledgeable when it came to used cars and trucks. One of the best I had ever seen. He took me under his wing and taught me the business of wholesaling used cars and trucks. We ran the roads together and made a lot of money. He was and always be my friend. God lay his healing hand of comfort on his family.

In high school, Gale was a larger than life character, full of life and fun. If it is all right with you, I will continue to think of him that way.

Rest in peace Gale. I cherish the time spent with you in our younger years playing Little League baseball at Dellwood Park in Mt. Pleasant. We played several years on the same team, the "Chevys" sponsored by Bob Sandlin Motors. I played first base and you played Short Stop. You were the star of our team. Later on in High School, even though we didn't hang out that much together, I remember you still being a really nice guy and humble. My thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends.
God Bless You Gale,
