I would like to express my deepest condolences to the family for their loss of your loved one, who will always be remembered as a Disney mousekateer. I hope you find comfort and help in God during this time of mourning.

Posted by M C    January 31, 2018

My sincere condolences to the family, friends and fans of Doreen Tracey. I was just 3 years old when the Mickey Mouse Club made it's debut; so it is a part of my initial consciousness. I can still clearly see Annette, Darlene, Doreen, Tommy, Karen and others singing out the iconic # M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E #. Such a time of refreshing innocence for us all. May the God who "binds up the brokenhearted" and "comforts those who mourn", sustain you all during this difficult time. Isaiah 61:1,2.

What an effervescent dynamo she was! My sister and I would get home from school, put on our Mickey Mouse Club pinafores and ears, and sit at a little table in front of the TV to watch the MMC every day. When the new MMC was getting ready to debut, all the original episodes were shown in a marathon; I watched every one (and sang along, I must confess), and remembered every one. Brad,
I grew up across the street on Jacaranda starting in 1963 (you were very young..) Your mom and me and my parents and your grandparents became fast friends.

We remained close friends until 1977 then lost touch as our lives moved on.
You mom gave me stories and adventures that I'd love to share with you. She was a huge influence in my life, taking me with her on some crazy adventures.

She was always exactly who she was. True to herself and always holding a half full glass.
I adored her and am so sad for you and your family.
