My sincere sympathy to SFC Majdanik's family. He was an outstanding Soldier, always cheerful, helpful and sharing his knowledge with all who needed it. He made it clear that he adored and cherished his family. He will be missed by so many

Jarek.... you are a great person and touched the lives of many! I will always remember the times when I didnt want to do something and you told me to just do it man! You always treated my son and I as if we were family! I will never forget that! You always included us in everything from playing soccer to trips to the beach and made us feel welcome! You would always say, just come and eat man... there is lots of food here... everybody is very cool... dont worry! My son and I will miss you! Thank you for being there for us! Your friends, Brian and Christian Lango.

SFC Majdanik

You were many things to many people, a combat veteran, a strong warrior, an excellent athlete, a friendly co-worker, a great father, a loyal brother, a loving husband, a remarkable PT instructor, a capable leader, a highly knowledgeable Senior NCO, an outstanding soldier, and you were also my mentor as well as my leader. You gave me guidance on how to be an NCO, you gave me the tools to succeed, you gave me advice, you motivated me to be in good spirits, you helped me push my limits, and you gave me comfort when I was in the lowest point in my life. No words can express my sadness to hear of your loss, and you will be sorely missed. I shall never forget the positive impact you've made on my life while we knew one another, nor the valuable lessons you've taught me. May god bless your family through this difficult time, and keep you in his heavenly glory. From a junior troop

Few and far between. A diamond in the rough. A forever friend. Soldier, warrior, and selfless servant. Patriot. Father, husband, son, brother, coworker. Full of life and forever in our hearts. Never forgotten. Humbled and inspired by your spirit, kindness, and laughter. May God bless your family.

This is hard to put into words. You made my day up every time I walked into work. I was always greeted with a "Hello Sir" Even when you left my office I would still get an IM from you or a call....."Hello Sir...how is Randolph" it made my day. You still cared about the people you used to work with. Such a simple person, but honestly you were bigger than life it's self. I always enjoyed our talks and you bragging about your family and especially Dominik....you are so proud of that little boy. I think of the good times and laughs we had and now cry. I feel sadness knowing the sorrow of your parents, brother, wife and son. You have no idea the impact you made on my life and everyone around you...even strangers you talked too. Your sprit, heart, patriotism and most importantly fatherhood will be missed. You were A TRUE WAR HERO. I know your brother in arms from Ft. Campbell whom perished before you have welcomed you into heaven's gates with open arms. Until we meet again my brother. God Bless......you are missed instantly.

May you rest in peace brother. Thank you for your selfless service to our great Nation and for being a great friend. The Army lost a great Soldier, NCO, and leader who always led from the front. I pray that there be peace and healing for your family during this time. Until Valhalla...

I'm heartbroken for your loss, yet honored that I got to know Jarek for the short time we worked together. He is a Polish brother and personal hero!! He epitomized fatherhood, humility, can-do attitude, and the American flighting spirit daily! I pray for his family and those also hurt by his loss. RIP brother.
