Judge Adams made a huge impact on my life. He was one of a few people who made it possible for me to attend night classes while working as a legal secretary at W&S. I remember his exact words to me when I was thinking about making the commitment "the mind is a terrible thing to waste." When I finally graduated from Harvard Extension after 7 years - Sam was a Master of Ceremony and typical of Same - he made it a point to find me among the thousands of students to congratulate me - disturbing the entire row of students to get my attention. Sam was a gem - always a gentleman, a jokster and a friend.

Such an amazing man. Even though he was a retired judge and senior partner at the firm, he always found time to check in on me, chat about current events and tennis, and otherwise serve as a great mentor when I was a first year associate. Sam, you'll be missed.

It is never easy to say goodbye to someone we love so much. Knowing that so many were loved and touched by him helps. Even more so because he lives in their memories . May you have peace and comfort in the promises of Almighty God that there is a hope of seeing your loved one again. My condolences.
