Mr. Dan has been our next door neighbor for 2 years now.
We unfortunately never got the pleasure of meeting his amazing wife Mary Joy, but knowing Mr. Dan and seeing his unwavered devotion to his wife was something I actually often spoke of and told people about.
He was the epitome of a husband. Every single day, like clockwork-he was out the door around 6am and on his way to spend the day with her, everyday!
My husband and I both have admired and adored Mr. Dan so very much since learning this was where he went to every morning the same time my husband headed to work.
That alone tells me how amazing and wonderful she was without even meeting her.
And THAT is true love and rare these days.
Again, even though I never met Mrs. McCann and my marriage is only 13 years In, I sensed she and Mr. Dan were very much like myself and my husband, we too are one of the rare fully head over heels In love.......til death do us part couple.
We have admired and adored Mr. Dan so much since learning this was where he went everyday.

We send our love, thoughts and prayers to you Mr. Dan, his children and the rest of the family in this time of sadness.
Sincerely ,
Megan Huck & Family

Mr. Dan and family, you are in our thoughts and Prayers. Joy's radiant smile and grace were not diminished by her illness. It was such a privilege to meet her and to see how much love and devotion she inspired in all of you. Please accept our deepest sympathy.
