Condolence & Memory Journal

I met Joanie at Paige's bat mitzvah and while it was Paige's day, Joanie hosted and was clearly the life force of the family. Her grace, beauty, intelligence and generosity have inspired not only her children and grandchildren but all those fortunate to have their lives touched by her. Her remarkable legacy and accomplishments will be remembered and carried on by her beloved family.

I am deeply saddened by the news of Joan's passing. We spent many hours together during the years of our shared professional lives, studying together and later consulting on cases. We shared our life experiences as much as our cases. Joan was a most sensitive. loving and intuitive person and Jerry and I send our warm and heartfelt condolences to the family.

I am so deeply sorry for your loss, and am sending you all so much love. I ran into Joan at the Nutcracker in December and she greeted me with a big hug and smile. Such a warm person...
She will be missed by all. xo

While not a close friend when ever I ran into Joan a warm smile came over me. She was a warm lady with the ability to make me feel like a dear friend. I will always think of her with a big smile. Steve Horowitz, you will be missed by so many.
