To the Baxter Family, I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful daughter. My daughter's; Monica and Terri Hamilton remember when she came to Build Academy and danced on stage and said how talented she was. No one knows how it feels to lose a child so young unless you have gone through it. I pray that God blesses your entire family and that your grief will be short. Wonderful memories you will have forever.

First of all, I'll like to share my deepest love, condolences, and peace to my Aunt Brenda, Uncle Calvin, Cousin Cali, & family and friends. May God provide strength to you all.

Secondly, I like to take this time to share with you Candy that I wish we could've had more time to talk about:
My dearest precious, the most peacefully Cousin Candy, thank you for the fondest memories growing up together in Buffalo, NY. The many sleepovers on Gail St. going to the neighborhood park off the highway, St. Columba memories...our first holy communion together, dancing around having fun, us going to our HBCUs colleges in Virginia (we both were dancers at our schools, in the marching band). You were at Hampton University. I was at Virginia Union University with Cousin Robin at University of Virginia all of us just a few short driving miles from each other (us lefties...lol). You moved away, I went back home after graduating college. But, most significantly, you and I kept in touch with each other for our birthdays, holidays, weddings, etc., via phone, email, and as technology enhanced texting (smile). Our last converse was three weeks ago around Easter via text! We were just speaking about visiting Buffalo, NY around the same time so we could see each other (i. e., Christmas) or sometime sooner or later. Well, it breaks my heart that our life together was cut short. However, as I have been and I will continue to Cherish our fondest memories together and I'll keep you, dearly close to my heart. Rest In Peace Cousin Candy! I love and will miss you very much!

Dear Aunt Brenda and Uncle Calvin:

I am at a loss for words during this time of sorrow. I know this must be one of the most difficult moments in life and it deeply saddens us all to have to say goodbye to Candy unexpectedly.

We all live on God's time, so I am very thankful to God for lending us Candy and her loving memories within us all.

Please know that I am thinking of you and praying for peace and comfort as you and the family remember Candy now and in the days ahead. May God embrace his strength around you to keep you comforted now and always.

My Deepest Sympathies to Quincy, the families and friends.

Your Niece,
Wendy

When I was a little girl, my summers were spent in Buffalo, NY at my Aunt Barb's house. The Baxter's were her neighbors. Candice and I would play every day for hours and hours. When I heard she had passed, those wonderful summer memories came to mind. Prior to my Aunt's passing, whenever she would see Mr. & Mrs. Baxter, she'd give me an update on Candice and her life. Mr. & Mrs. Baxter, Calvin Jr. and the rest of the family, I am so sorry for your loss. Praying that God will comfort you like only he can and give you strength to face the days ahead.

I am so sorry to hear about Candi, my sweet roommate in college. I smile as I remember how excited we were to coordinate the decor for our room. We shared many conversations about the scriptures and about life in general. She was truly a friend. I pray for God's comfort and peace to surround and keep the family.
