Condolence & Memory Journal

I have so many wonderful memories of all the time our families spent together. To this day, when the kids and grandkids stay over, I say As my Aunt Betty would say...See you in the a.m. You'll always be in our hearts!

Betty was one of the "neighborhood moms" when I was growing up in Montgomery Square between Rockville and Potomac, Maryland, between 1965 and 1974. Her son, Larry, was one of my best friends, so I would be at his house a lot. Betty was a gem. She got me interested in playing the piano. I have tremendously fond memories of both her and her husband. Fly on, Betty.

I greatly appreciated knowing you as my "out-law" and as your vivacious self. Visits were always enjoyable, whether at home, on The Cape and elsewhere.
You extended hospitality, lively discussion, appreciation of cinematic and literary arts, politics and the finer points of life in New England and the Mid-Atlantic.
We definitely miss you.

Now you have joined the
great Cosmic Book Club, so pull up that chair next to Jane Austen.

It's hard to imagine I will never again "see you in the a.m.," Mom, but I'm happy you are finally at peace. You left your little spot on earth immeasurably better than it was when you arrived, and you will be missed forever.
