Condolence & Memory Journal

There are no words to describe the loss of our dear classmate. A devoted friend and strong spiritual example. Known by me and another surviving classmate since kindergarten and several still surviving classmates since 7th grade. Our dear senior class president, valedictorian and host of our 53rd class reunion in Hampton VA. He drove to MI for all our reunions, the last in Oct. 2018 from TN. He also drove up to MI for Bob and my 65 yr anniversary and 85th birthday party. Bob also kindergarten classmate passed May 1, 2018.
Missing the love of his life, Joan, he shared his work on sculpting a bust of her.
We all pray for his family to have strength at this difficult time and cherish the years of memories. Ned will always remain in our hearts. I especially remember being at his 5th birthday party and still have the small china floral basket as a memory his mother gave each of us. We were a small community and remember her substitute teaching our class and Murl Momany our principal and then superintendent and sisters Virginia and Bonnie. You 3 sons? and families have much to be proud of.
If anyone wishes to hear some of my school memories of your dad and granddad I would welcome contact for phone chat.
Peace be with you, Julie Johnson.
