This Tillman 6th grade teacher changed the trajectory of my learning life. She was an outstanding teacher who encouraged (some would say pushed) every student to be the best he/she could be. I went from being an average student to an honors student in one year under Mrs. Corrigan. I would see her once again on assignment for Maritz when I was 27. The program I produced focused on outstanding teachers in the St. Louis area and I was sent to her classroom. It was an emotional experience and one I would never forget. It would be the last time I would connect with her but hardly the last time I would think about her. She was a brilliant teacher and mentor. ~ Susan Bechtold
